The prevention of both of these is a human duty that no one can deny, and striving for it and using force and power is also in accordance with nature.

 The Quran says: Fitnah is greater than killing. This is because killing someone is related to his own self, but fitnah is related to the collective and there is a fear of putting the entire society in danger.

After thinking and pondering, it is found that the center of his human life is on the correct use of power and weapons. If a person studies his daily life with an open mind, his angle of thought will reach the point that every positive thing is a ready war and a battle with its opposite negative thing, just as the use of medicine is a war against physical diseases.

 Similarly, education and training are the greatest weapons to eradicate ignorance and indecency in the world of civilization.

Now, the war that suppresses sedition and corruption in accordance with nature for the life, property and moral protection of human society will be called natural war, and it is also interpreted as Islamic Jihad and the Prophetic Expedition.

The Quran has mentioned their irregularity in a very well-reasoned manner, the summary of which is that if the Owner of the earth and the sky and the Wise Lord had not arranged to uproot the mischief-makers and evildoers through natural wars, then no monastery, church, or temple, nor any place of worship or place of worship would have been safe, and these evil people would have turned the pleasant things of the earth into dust and polluted it with sedition and corruption.

 The wars against nature that took place before the Prophetic era can be divided into two parts: the war of the uncivilized people of Arabia, and the war of the civilized peoples of Rome and Iran.

The war style of the uncivilized nation:

 For this nation, human life had no value or importance, and war had become their national profession. Swords would be drawn at the slightest incident.

These wars would continue to be transferred from one generation to the next. To satisfy the desire for revenge and fulfill greed and lust, all inhumane behavior was practiced: betrayal of trust, desecration of corpses, cutting off noses and ears and wearing necklaces of them, taking vows to drink wine from the skulls of enemies, burning them, treating prisoners worse than animals and having them killed.

 Rather, they crossed all the limits of humanity and reached the crossroads of callousness and brutality that they would chew human hearts and on top of all this, they considered it a source of pride and courage. Far from such bloody stories, the entire poetry of ignorance is full of which the Arabs hold the status of a historical document.

The Civilized Nation’s Theory of War:

Such a situation existed in a primitive and uneducated nation like the Arabs, but the nation that was called civilized and civilized did not have much different war behavior from them.

Their days and nights were also colored with the bloody story of cruelty and barbarity. There were no rules and laws regarding war. They would bring about a minor doomsday wherever they invaded the land.

Their commander would be like Hazrat Israfil and his command would be “Sura”. As soon as the war trumpet sounded, the old, children, women, the sick, the disabled, monks and the ascetics, crops, gardens and settlements would be destroyed and devastated.

 Religious hatred was also rampant among them, the desecration of holy places was also a part of the war, whenever one of the Christians, Jews and Magians prevailed over the other, it was uprooted from the ground, thousands and millions of lives were lost, even ambassadors were not spared, treachery was also a common thing; indeed, even the skirt of the Naushirwan king, whose court was famous, was not without being stained with human blood. Thus, in 640/, when he captured the capital of Syria, he ordered the massacre of the citizens and the demolition of buildings and imprisoned the entire population and reduced them to ashes.

Prisoners of war were the objects of the barbaric games and bloodthirsty entertainment of this civilized nation.

First, these prisoners were chained and then tortured and put to death.

 This is why, in 611/, when a slave girl spat on the ground while attending the funeral of Heraclius’ wife, she had to pay the price for this unforgivable insult by sacrificing her life. Similarly, when the Roman emperor was defeated and became a prisoner of Persia, he spent his entire life in slavery and after his death, he was flayed and stuffed with straw. (Akhlaq al-Rasul 2/82).

And the funny thing is that this whole drama was not staged for any important purpose, but was only done to achieve fame and glory and to express royal awe and glory.

Prophetic Mission and His Attribute of Mercy:

The second name of the Islamic constitution is the divine law and this law was revealed by the Almighty God in the form of the Quran to His most chosen servant Muhammad (peace be upon him) over a period of 23 years. Then this teacher of the universe implemented it on God’s earth with all his virtues and perfections, and guided the wandering humanity on the straight path, took it out of the narrowness of this world and into the vastness of the Hereafter, and stopped the violation of human values, created moderation in life, and gave the world the glad tidings of eternal success in knowing its Creator and submitting to His obedience.

So he said, “I am not only a prophet of God for the Arabs, but a prophet for all members of humanity in general. I have been sent as a mercy for all the worlds. No one has brought you anything better than what I have brought in the form of a goal. The only condition is that you say “La ilaha illallah” and you will be successful.

Protection of human life in the Prophet’s court:

 Thus, your life is a complete constitution of life, there is no corner of life that you have kept thirsty; however, the brightest chapter in the history of the Prophethood is the establishment of humanity. Therefore, it is said: “All human beings are equal in human rights, provided that they are bound by the law.” Justice means that everyone gets his full right and those who obstruct it should be severely punished.

In the Quran, justice has been enjoined in countless places and oppression and tyranny have been strongly condemned in hundreds of places and it has been severely dealt with. This is why, without discrimination of religion and tribe, polytheists, Jews and Christians would bring their complaints to you, seek a decision and return with justice, the righteous would get their rights and the criminals would be punished.

Principles and regulations of Islamic war:

 In relation to war, the Holy Prophet first reformed the previous methods of war, then set such pure principles for it that this war, the name of which used to make the soul tremble and the conquered nation used to witness death with open eyes, became a means of protecting humanity from misguidance and moral, personal and material security.

First, it was emphasized to work in peace and harmony and permission was given to take up the sword under strict conditions in the most unfavorable circumstances.

 This is the reason why you and your companions continued to suffer in the mill of oppression and persecution for thirteen years and without any crime or mistake they were expelled from their homes and exiled, but even after exile, when the pursuit continued, they were allowed to fight, but the permission was such that even leaving the ranks without the order of the commander of the army was not permissible, and unjust bloodshed was absolutely not allowed; 

Rather, fight with what is in front of you, do not mutilate the dead, do not kill them at night, do not torture them, do not molest monks, the homeless, the disabled, women, children and the elderly, do not demolish buildings, do not cut down fruit trees, treat those who become your prisoners with kindness, feed them and take care of their clothing. The Quran has declared feeding prisoners as the best deed. Then it is said: Do not destroy the population. The Holy Prophet even forbade them from shouting with pride and arrogance.

By putting these principles and methods into practice, you and your devoted companions blocked all avenues of cruel war methods of the non-Muslim nation. These principles and regulations reveal the extraordinary value and importance of human life and its respect.

Prophetic campaigns and prisoners of war

There is a long list of Prophetic campaigns, but with regard to prisoners of war, only two campaigns will be mentioned here, which are of special importance in this regard. The Battle of Badr and the Conquest of Mecca.

 Because these were not prisoners, but they were the people who made the Prophet and his companions a bridge and crossed all the borders of oppression and aggression for a long period of thirteen to fourteen years, making them stateless from their homeland. When these foreigners began to breathe a sigh of relief in a strange city, the Quraysh nation could not digest this either and even attacked Medina to attack it, but the true Lord defeated them and inflicted a very shameful defeat, and seventy prisoners fell into the hands of the Muslims.

The Battle of Badr!  But sacrifice to this benefactor of humanity who, despite their dual enmity, advised them to treat them well and distributed them among their various companions. History is witness that these madmen of the Prophet took care of these prisoners like guests, and fed them bread by themselves, making do with dates. Tabari cites the statement of a prisoner, Abu Aziz, that when the Ansars brought food to me in the morning and evening, they would place the bread in front of me. I would pick up the dates myself. I would feel ashamed and I would give the bread to them, but they would not even touch it and would return it to me.

 When these prisoners were brought to the mosque and tied up, and the tied prisoners were groaning from the pain of the confinement at night, due to which the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) could not sleep and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was tossing and turning all night, the companions, thinking that this restlessness was due to his uncle, loosened the confinement of Abbas. However, this great benefactor issued this order for all the prisoners because in fact, behind his eagerness, there was not a blood relationship but a human relationship.

A prisoner, Suhail bin Amr, was a very eloquent and eloquent person who always used to spit venom against the Holy Prophet. Hazrat Umar advised to have his teeth pulled out. The Holy Prophet strictly forbade it and ordered that the dirty clothes of these prisoners be changed.

 When a consultation was held regarding these prisoners, Hazrat Umar advised to have them all put to the sword, Abdullah bin Rawaha advised to have them burnt alive, and Hazrat Siddiq advised to release them after taking a ransom. The benefactor of humanity decided on the last consultation.

However, the shower of mercy and generosity did not end here. Rather, this immense mercy also took into account the status of these prisoners in the ransom. Thus, the ransom of those who were wealthy was fixed in terms of money. Those who were knowledgeable and artistic were given the task of teaching writing and writing as compensation for their release. Those who were not even capable of this and were completely helpless were released as is after being given a gift of forgiveness and forgiveness.

The Conquest of Mecca

The Conquest of Mecca reveals the true history of human values. This day was a day to quench the thirst for revenge, but this teacher of the universe, peace and blessings be upon him, trained his successors in such a way that they left such an impact of his mercy on the world map that the eyes of the universe saw that in the court of truth and justice of the greatest benefactor of humanity, humanity prevailed over revenge.

 While on this occasion, this great conqueror has a great army, weapons, complete power and not only that, but also the heartbreaking events of the past are before him, the three-year imprisonment of ‘Shaab Abi Talib’, the groans and cries, hunger and thirst, anxiety and restlessness and the painful events of immense suffering and pain, the burning rocks, the flaming stones, the rough trunks of palm trees, the ropes of the ropes, the thorns of the road, the whips, the camel’s noose, the nooses around the neck, the rolls of mats and the smoke, all of them were fueling the flames of revenge against the oppressors today.

 The whole atmosphere was resounding with the echoes of revenge, revenge!! The surroundings were also echoing with their own tongues. What could have been a more wonderful and joyful opportunity to destroy the enemies by hand than when the enemies themselves were sure of their own destruction, despite this, the benefactor of humanity and the Messiah of the dead (peace be upon him) opened the doors of the Kaaba.  Standing on the ground, we declare the components of human survival (peace, equality and freedom) in this way: O people! Mecca has always been a safe haven.

 It is not permissible for any pious person to shed blood in this land and harm its greenery and freshness after today. Today, the family and racial pride of ignorance has been abolished. All humans are the children of Adam and Adam was born from the soil. Go and get busy with your own work. Now you are all free!!!

Instead of oppression, aggression and bloodshed, today there was a flood of forgiveness and forgiveness. So what happened? The murderer of the young daughter of this great conqueror, Habbar Ibn Al-Aswad, the Abyssinian who played Holi with the blood of his beloved uncle “Hamza”, the Hindu who chewed the liver of the same Hamza, and the enemy of Islam, Abu Jahl’s son, the enemy of the Prophet, Ikrimah, all receive an unparalleled and great gift of forgiveness and generosity.

 Even a mortal enemy like Abdullah Ibn Sarh, Sarah, Kaab Ibn Zuhair gets permission to forgive, after such a great victory.  Only Huwayrith ibn Naqiya, Abdul Uzzi ibn Khatl, and Muqais ibn Sababa were killed on the spot, and that too in retaliation, not out of pride in victory, power, or might.

The Prophetic Expeditions and the Current War Situation

 Now we have to analyze the Prophetic Expedition and the unnatural war in the context of the present era, what impact did Islamic wars have on the moral world, in contrast to what great upheaval occurred in the moral, material and human values ​​of the human world in other wars.

For example, the heartbreaking history of the atrocities in the First and Second World Wars and the gross violation of human values ​​in Afghanistan and Iraq after September 11, 2001 and the flames of the Third World War rising from their skulls.

 In fact, this is not a war, but the last form of cruelty, aggression and inhumanity. The short story of which is that according to a careful estimate, forty million human lives were lost in the two great wars. Under the guise of terrorism against Islam, those who destroyed peace, equality and human values ​​sacrificed millions of innocent children, elderly and women of Afghanistan to bombs and dynamite and turned a happy and peaceful country into a pile of ashes.

 Even after that, when their thirst was not quenched, the greedy eyes of human wolves turned towards Iraq and quenched their thirst with the blood of about 700,000 innocent people there. The way these beasts mocked and are mocking human values ​​in the “Abu Ghraib” prison, what can be called it other than bestiality, brutality and evil? There is not even a word in the reserves of dictionaries to describe their black deeds. 

These self-centered people gave the president of a country such a gift of a painful death on his own soil on the very day of the festival that human values ​​were torn to shreds. The nation, which worshipped lust, did not attack a single person, a single country or a single religion, but rather launched a cowardly attack on the entire moral world. On the contrary, if we examine the Prophet’s campaigns, we will find that this is a natural war and within it we find true images of impartial pursuit, free from cruelty and excess, and justice and equality, which not only ended the warlike behavior of the previous nation, but also gave human values ​​a new spirit and eternal life.

 Thus, according to a study, a total of 6564 prisoners and 759 people were killed in all the battles of the Prophet’s era, and 259 Muslims were martyred and one elder was imprisoned. History is witness that 6348 of these enemy prisoners were released unconditionally by the Prophet (peace be upon him) after the Battle of Hunain. Only one person was killed in retaliation. Then, out of 215 prisoners, 70 were released after taking a ransom in Badr. After that, 80 people were captured while attacking the Muslims on the Tan’im Mountains. They were also released in the same way.

Summary

From the events, evidence and your own testimony, it is certain that the remaining prisoners would have been freed. Was there any third way of punishing prisoners in the war policies of any nation at that time other than slavery and murder? As far as the issue of making slaves and concubines is concerned, its secrets and mysteries should also be understood well. Previously, there was no concept of exchanging prisoners, so out of necessity, Islam did not order slavery but permitted it. Since fighting women is not permissible in Islam and in wars, often all the men were killed and their women became helpless and helpless, there was no more suitable way for them than for the ruler to assign women to the army who could support them.

 If this were the view of Islam, then the good news of numerous virtues and great rewards would not have been promised on the liberation and release of slaves and slaves, nor would they have been urged to behave well and to ignore their mistakes. But Islam provided the means for their liberation through various means and gave them a place in society. These are the reasons and factors that fully clarify the fact that the Prophetic teachings did not abolish the concept of slavery, but in fact abolished it, but not all at once, but gradually according to their mood. There is a long list of such individuals who, after being freed, later held great positions and the world was saturated with them.

Can there be any law in this world that has such solid and complete enforcement power?  Even if there are vague impressions of action, equality and human values ​​in other houses besides Islam, they have been borrowed from the life of Muhammad, but in the practical field they are still crippled and their executive power is at zero… These are the bright facts of the life of Muhammad (peace be upon him) that give a warning to the fanatical nation and the bearers of brutality in the name of peace and equality.
