The Holy Quran confirms the books and prophets that were revealed before it; in fact, their teachings are also mentioned in the Holy Quran. Hazrat Sayyiduna Jesus (peace be upon him) was sent to the Children of Israel. The book of the Gospel was revealed to Jesus (peace be upon him) by Allah Almighty, which contained guidance for the Children of Israel.
The teachings of Jesus (peace be upon him) are also mentioned in the Holy Quran. Below, we will briefly review the teachings of Jesus (peace be upon him) in the Holy Quran and his teachings in the current Gospel, which will make it clear what his original teachings were and what method current Christianity is following. Although the period of prophet hood of Jesus (peace be upon him) was very short; but in this short period, he left behind those impressions of teachings that will always be remembered.
The Holy Quran highlights the Greatness and Exaltation of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him)
Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) is one of the great and powerful prophets whom the Holy Quran has specifically mentioned and whose teachings have been repeatedly referred to. On the one hand, the Holy Quran highlights the greatness and exaltation of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) in order to dispel the suspicions spread by the Jews about him, and on the other hand, it strongly condemns those who declared him to be God or the son of God. On the other hand, the Holy Quran repeatedly refers to the clear teachings of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him), which clearly explain the belief in monotheism, prophethood and the Hereafter. The Holy Quran has mentioned the teachings of Jesus (peace be upon him) in several places, what he taught his people, the Children of Israel.
God Almighty says:
Translation: And when Allah Almighty will say: O Jesus son of Mary! Did you say to the people: Take me and my mother as gods besides Allah? He will reply: Glory be to You, how could I say something that I had no right to say? If I had said it, You know very well, the words of my heart are clear to You, but what is in your heart is hidden from Me, so You are the Knower of all the unseen.

Imam Ibn Kathir (may Allah have mercy on him) writes
“On the Day of Resurrection, in the presence of those who worshipped Christ or Mary, Allah Almighty will ask Hazrat Jesus (peace be upon him) whether you had told them to worship yourself and your mother? The purpose of this question is to rebuke the Christians and to be angry with them; so that they would be ashamed and humiliated in front of all the people.” (Ibn Kathir, Vol. 2, p. 143)
Allah Almighty has quoted the saying of Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him):
”اِنَّ اللہَ رَبِّیْ وَرَبُّکُمْ فَاعْبُدُوْہ ھٰذَ صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِیْم“ (القرآن)
Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is the straight path.”
The call and preaching of Jesus (peace be upon him) were exactly the same as those of all other prophets
These verses clearly show that the call and preaching of Jesus (peace be upon him) were exactly the same as those of all other prophets, for example, God alone is pure; therefore, He alone is worthy of worship and is superior. In this regard, the Christian belief in the divinity of Christ is wrong. The prophet should be obeyed as the representative of Allah Almighty and this has been the call of every prophet.
Only Allah Almighty has the authority to decide what is permissible and what is permissible and what is not. Therefore, by the command of Allah, I declare permissible the things that you have made forbidden to yourself and free you from such unjust restrictions. Also, by the command of Allah, you greatly reduced the restrictions on the Sabbath on the Jews; but the Jews could not be reformed and they continued to advance in their hostility towards Jesus (peace be upon him). In fact, Jesus (peace be upon him), Moses (peace be upon him), and the Seal of the Prophets, Imam al-Rasul Muhammad (peace be upon him), were the ones who And there is no significant difference in the mission of other prophets; rather, all the prophets agree in principle; but there are some differences in the details.
The mission of the Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him)
It is a pity that the mission of the Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) is not explained in the present Gospel with the clarity that is presented in the Holy Quran, however, we find those basic points in it in the form of scattered references, for example, that Jesus believed in the worship of Allah alone, which is clearly evident from his sayings:
“You shall worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.” (Bible Matthew: 1:41)
And not only that he believed in it; rather, the aim of all his efforts was that the command of God’s law should be obeyed on earth in the same way that His immortality is obeyed in heaven.
“Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Bible Matthew 10/6)
Similarly, it is evident from his many sayings that Jesus Christ presented himself as a prophet and representative of the heavenly kingdom and in this capacity invited people to obey him.
Allah Almighty clearly says:
Translation: “Indeed, those who say that the Messiah, son of Mary, is Allah have disbelieved; whereas the Messiah himself said to them, ‘O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Surely, whoever associates others with Allah, Allah has forbidden Paradise to him, and his abode is Hell. There is no helper for the sinners.”
Summary
The above verses of the Holy Quran and the Bible comprehensively refute all such things that people have attributed to the prophets and included in their religious books, according to which any prophet or angel is considered a god. A general rule has been stated in these verses that even if such a teaching teaches the worship of someone other than Allah and takes the servant to the place of God, it cannot be the teaching of any prophet. And wherever there is such a thing in any religious book, it should be understood that this misleading belief is the result of the distortions of the people
